An overview of the role

What we need from you

As a key member of the editorial department for the frog brand, you'll be at the forefront of creating engaging and effective content that strikes a chord with our global audiences. Working closely with designers, strategists, and other colleagues from around the world, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling copy for a variety of channels and formats, including articles, videos, podcasts, reports, and events. You'll also play a critical role in the strategic planning, writing, editing, researching, journey mapping, designing new content types and testing new marketing initiatives.

While crafting copy will a huge focus of your role, you’ll also be encouraged to push your ideas and challenge ways of working so that as a brand we’re constantly looking for ways to improve the content we deliver. What you’ll do in the role

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders in and out of frog to write, edit, and shape clear, relevant, accurate, and engaging copy and content (e.g., articles, reports, podcasts, videos, infographics, live events, UI copy, email campaigns, etc.)
  • Write and edit to brand style guides and editorial standards.
  • Tell stories that inform, inspire, challenge, and entertain our audience.
  • Understand and act on key takeaways and compelling angles from larger projects or bodies of work to inspire new directions of content.
  • Conduct research to understand the type of content that our audiences are interested in reading
  • Write and map audience journeys and design content initiatives from end-to-end.
  • Dig into processes and workflows, constantly looking for ways to enhance production cycles.
  • Experiment with new content formats, informed by research and refined by UX testing, accessibility standards, etc.
  • Operate with a media brand mindset, balancing the push of deadlines with the joy of creation.

We’d love to meet someone with:

  • Relevant working experience in agency or corporate environments
  • A degree in marketing, mass communication, journalism, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, content optimization, marketing automation platforms, email platforms, social media, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English
  • B2B experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with a content management system
